The Board consists of directors who are elected for a three-year term from the three Regional Planning Districts of the 18-county area served by NWMOAAA.   Directors are paid a mileage reimbursement and a meal per diem for attendance at Board meetings, and  in the course of performing Agency-approved business.

Board meetings are held the third Monday of each month with the exception of August, which is considered a vacation month for the Board.  Regular meetings commence at 9:30 a.m. and are usually finished by noon.
